As he celebrates his 80th birthday today, the utterly gorgeous Alain Delon continues to court controversy - his support for the right-wing Front National in France and less-than-enlightened comments on homosexuality are hardly endearing traits.
I am, however, completely in agreement with the actor Vincent Lindon, who recently said: "He had this infernal beauty, it's hypnotising... You can look at photos of him for hours and hours."
So true.

I think it's law in France that if you're an entertainer over seventy you have to turn into a racist nutjob.

Let's face it, the french are just genetically racist. Only when they have been exterminated will racism cease to exist.
